The conference will be held at Roanne Institute of Technology, France:

Saint-Exupéry airport is 15 miles east of Lyon: Air France, KLM,British Airways, Lufthansa and other airlines run daily flights to and from major European cities. Low-cost airlines also operate to and from this airport.

When you arrive in Lyon Saint Exupéry, the easiest is to catch the shuttle train to the Lyon Part-Dieu station : see http://www.rhonexpress.fr (English flag on the top right hand corner for the English version).

Then from Part-Dieu station, there are regular trains to Roanne (to look at train timetables and book your ticket: http://en.voyages-sncf.com/en/) - make sure you select the Lyon Part-Dieu station).

 Fares may vary considerably depending on when tickets are booked.

From Paris

• T.G.V. (High Speed Train) from Gare de Lyon station via Lyon Part-Dieu (around 3 hours)
• T.G.V. via Montchanin-Le Creusot, and change to bus in Montchanin.

(A few more direct and cheaper trains also operate via Moulins with changes in Vichy or Moulins).

• A6 motorway - exit A 77 motorway towards Montargis - Nevers – Moulins then N7 or
• A6 motorway - exit Chalon-Sud – head South-West towards Le Creusot – Paray le Monial then Digoin - Roanne

FROM LYON (about 1 hour)

• A89 from Dardilly – Exit in Balbigny 

FROM CLERMONT FERRAND (about 1 hour)

• A72 motorway eastbound - exit Saint- Germain Laval or Balbigny

FROM SAINT ETIENNE (about 1 hour)

• A72 motorway northbound, exit Balbigny
